I don’t know about you, but I am about ready for summer. It is already quite warm and sunny where I am from, but I want to actually enjoy the sun, which is not quite possibly with two Master degree’s in the making. So instead, I thought I pay homage to the sun the way I know it – with make-up.
As I am not yet tan enough for a full bronzed look I went with a nice touch of color on the eyes, subtle enough for everyday life, but spicy and summer-y enough to get me through my long to-do lists. I love doing colorful eye-looks like this as it is an easy integration of a touch of color to an otherwise boring look. I did not want to go overboard, so I chose a lipstick and lipgloss combo that would be a nice add to the rest of the make-up.
To get the tone I wanted I blended two colors – I used the two red tones in the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette, which gave me this gorgeous pink color.
As you can see I focused the colors in the inner corner and blended it out, then I added highlighter on top of it, since the shadow itself was a matte finish. I used the light-gold shadow of the palette as well as the highlight shade of the Too Faced palette. I also added a red-brown color on the top lash line, also from the same NYX shadow palette.
in today’s entry I am going to talk about the makeup look I’ve been wearing for the transition to summer. Where I’m leaving it’s currently a heat wave so we’ve been having temperatures up in the 25 C.
As per usual I like to keep it minimal for the everyday basis, especially because I’m usually out the entire day at Uni. What’s also important is a very long-lasting makeup and a sweat proof one, because – duh – it’s summer, so it’s usually hot. Haha xD
As you can see I’m currently loving a lot of Maybelline products and I think that’s amazing. I personally think they have really upped their game with their new products and I think that for their price they are amazing, long-lasting products.
For my eyes, I used a combination of the three bronzer shades in the Master Bronze Palette in the crease and under-eye. And a little bit of the gold from the palette on my lid.
My lip color varies on my mood and when I took that picture I felt bold so I went with a bright fuchsia color. I love the mattes from NYX, though I wish they were a little bit longer lasting.
What are your go-to makeup products for summer? Tell me in the comments, I would love to know.
in today’s video I show you my everyday routine during Spring when I have my classes at University. I usually have about 20 minutes for my makeup in the morning, so I am able to do quite a lot, but I do have to make sure it lasts all day, because I have really long days. If you want to know how achieved this look then check my video out.
I hope you enjoyed today’s video and if you did make sure to give it a big thumbs up. It would mean the world to me if you could subscribe and leave me a comment telling me what your favorite primer for a long day of wearing makeup is.
in today’s post I am going to talk about some of my beauty favorites that I have been loving this spring season. I recently been into a more dewy, glowing makeup look and also more of a bronzed up eye.
I could have easily titled this post ‘What I recently love from Maybelline’, haha. Just kidding, that is actually just a coincidence that all my spring favorites are from them. But I have been loving some of their products, which might explain this.
The primer especially has become one of my absolute faves. It makes my makeup stay on so much longer and it doesn’t break me out, which is a plus for me. And ever since they came out with a ‘Luminous + Smooth’ Fit Me foundation range I’ve been loving to look dewy and glowy. And with that being said it is no wonder that I am loving their blush in Coral Fever which is a sparkly blusher. It just leaves your cheeks looking so pretty.
But now onto the main attraction: the MASTER Bronze Color & Highlighting Kit. I am LOVING this product. I have been using it as bronzer, highlighter and for my eyeshadow! It is so versatile and I just love it! Here is a makeup look I’ve created and to which I will upload a YouTube video soon.
What have been your favorites this spring season? Tell me in the comments I would love to know and maybe even try out some new things.
in today’s video I am showing you a bronzed kinda everyday spring makeup I love to wear if I have a little bit more time in the morning.
I hope you enjoyed today’s video and if you did make sure to give it a big thumbs and leave a comment telling me what your go-to bronzer is. Also I would really appreciate it if you would hit that sub button and follow me along my journey! I try to put up a video every Friday!
