Life Update – Where I have been

Hey my loves,

Long time no talking. Sorry for being quite MIA the past couple of weeks, but a lot – and I mean A LOT – has happened the past three months. So I thought before I get back into the swing of things I would do a little catch up with you guys.

The past couple of months have been super emotional and stressful, but I am so content with everything right now that I feel like it is time to get back into blogging. I just needed some creative space from everything so I could write what I love again and also love doing it again. After almost seven years of blogging you kind of get into a slump, but I think I finally got out and feel ready to tackle it.

This week is the last week of seminars for the winter term and after this I am writing a paper, but besides that, for the first time in a while, I have some time to improve myself and work on things I love. My plan is to start my master thesis some time in the next winter term 2021/2022 and before that I have two papers and an oral exam left, so I got a little way to go. I can honestly say that this past semester was super stressful but I could handle this whole online thing – and more work load thing – quite good. I finished a lot of my courses, I think at the end I did six finished courses. So, YEY me!

But, the past couple of months have been so stressful. In the middle of the semester my new apartment got ready for me to move in (it was planned for the break between last summer and winter semester, but it got moved so much). So I ended up moving in the last week of November, which would have been absolutely fine if I hadn’t had to do put wallpaper in all of the rooms and paint all the walls and ceilings. But thanks to my uncle and friends I got it all done very quickly – I think it took like three or four weeks in total. But while all the renovating was happening I still had classes and was working. So it was a lot to do and I didn’t really have the time or head space to produce content for my blog, or for Instagram for that matter.

Now as I am back to blogging I will try to post two blog entries every week – I will post on Wednesday and Saturday at around 11 am. I have a lot of fun blog entries coming up: I will show you my new place and take about some good food I have been cooking during lockdown. So stay tuned!

I hope you are all doing well and are happy and healthy! I see you on Saturday with a new blog post.

XoXo, Jasmin.

a little update

Hey my loves,

Long time no chat. It has been almost three months since I have uploaded a blog entry, so I thought I would give you a quick run down on what happened. The Corona-Semester hit me hard, a lot of my classes were canceled and if they were online it was truly not the best situation at all. At the end I was only able to do three courses, which is really bad when you think that I had booked around eleven courses. I honestly was shocked at how some of my professors dealt with the entire situation and I am hoping that the upcoming semester will be better even if it will be an online semester as well.

Besides that a lot of other very crazy things happened and that have tested me over the last weeks a lot. It just shows you how much you should value and cherish moments with friends and family and how strong one really ist. Something just happened a little over a week ago, which was probably the scariest of them all – a Corona scare. But all is good now – but still wear your mask and keep social distancing to people you do not know.

But now, I am officially on vacation time, well besides the two papers that have to be written and the move I have to prepare. Oh yeah, right – I AM MOVING! I am so excited for my new apartment, I am not really moving cities or anything but I am getting a bigger space, which I am super excited about. I will probably move in around four to six weeks – hopefully, there are some delays (the apartment is being fully renovated). I am planning on a series involving my move, so stay tuned for that.

How has quarantine and the whole situation affected you? Tell me in the comments. This blog is a safe place. Also, let me know of any blog post ideas you would want me to share. I am going to slowly get back into it and hopefully be back on my feet with this blog by the time I am in my new place.

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Wear a mask.

XoXo, Jasmin.
