Spring Make Up Look – 2016

Hey my loves,

today I’m sharing a look with you I created for this year’s Spring season inspired by the upcoming trends. I took my own spin on using blue eyeshadow! Here’s what the end result looks like (oh and fyi I created this look before I touched up my roots and trimmed my hair):

The Eyes

Since I have green eyes I thought blue eyeshadow on the lids would not go with my eye color so I thought how can I create a look with using blue, and since I had a blue winged liner for last years make up look, I decided to smoke out my under-eye. By the way, that’s the look I’m talking about: Color Pop – Make Up Look – Spring 2015

I kept the eyeshadow look on the upper lid fairly simple. It’s pretty much my everyday go-to look except I don’t wear eyeliner on an every day base. But I wanted something simple for the top, so I went for a gold and brown mix. Here are all the products I used for my eyes:

Products used on the upper lid:

  • Catrice – Chocolate Nudes Eyeshadow Palette in 010 Choc’ Let It Be
    • I used a mixture of the 5th and 1st shadow (from left to right) and applied it on my lid, then I used the 3rd color as a transitioning color in the crease and after it, I applied the 4th color lightly over that. Lastly I applied the 2nd color as a brow bone highlight.

Products used on the under eye-area and lashes:

Products used on my eyebrows:

The Face

Now let’s talk about the face. I used a mixture between two foundations, because I’m currently in between colors and also because one of them is more hydrating than the other. And I forgot to but my primer to the products, but I used the Nivea Men After Shave Balsam in Sensitive. Here is everything I used on my face:

In order of applying it:

The Lips

First I used the lipliner to outline my lips and then I filled in with my lipstick.

I hope you like this look and if you did make sure to give this entry a thumbs up and feel free to share it on your social media! And if you recreate this look make sure to tag me!

Valentine’s Day – Date Night Look – February 2016

Hey my loves,

today I’m sharing my easy smoky eye with you that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day! I hope you like it and if you recreate it make sure to tag me! Leave me a comment and tell me what you’re doing on Valentine’s Day and especially what you think about this look!

Products I used for my face:

For a base I applied my primer, with the Nivea one you have to work the product in until it gets sticky and trust me when I say a little goes a long way. Because my dark circle are at their worst in the moment I used a orange toned concealer and then a peach colored one over that. Then I applied a mixture of the foundations (2 pumps Maybelline, 1 small dot of KIKO) and applied those with a beauty blender all over my face, don’t forget to blend down your neck. Because the foundation hadn’t the coverage I wanted I used the Rimmel concealer to cover any spots that you could see through and to highlight under the eyes I used a lighter concealer. To set my under-eye and T-zone I applied my powder with a large powder brush and then continued to contour my face. I was very light handed so that the contour wouldn’t be too hard. After I was done with contouring I moved on with blush and highlighter. I used the highlighter on top of my cheek bones, the tip of my nose and on my cupids bow.

Products I used for my eyebrows:

I filled my eyebrows in with a taupe colored eyeshadow and then used the brow gel from Rimmel to hold them into place. (Please excuse my messy eyebrows, need to get them done asap!)

Products I used for my eyes:

To create this eye make up I started with the lightest shade in the palette and used it as a brow bone and inner corner highlight. Later on I used a bit of the Mary-Lou Manizer to intensify the highlight even more. Then I used the darker pink shade in the crease as a blending color. After that I applied the second color from the right all over the lid and then ,using the blending brush I used to apply the pink color with, blended the crease and lid color together. I then repeated this step once more and after that I took the darkest shade on a smaller precision shader brush and concentrated the color to the roots of the lashes and then blended it up lightly. To blend the darkest color into the base color I picked up the second color again and blended it over the line between those two shades. For the under-eye I combined the two darkest colors and blended them carefully. After that I took the dark pink shade and blended it around the outer edge of the colors. To finish the look I first applied a coat of Volume Million Lashes Mascara to the bottom and lower lashes and finished it up with another coat of the Catrice mascara.

Products I used for my lips:

To outline the lips I used a drugstore lip liner from the brand Trend it up! and over that I applied the Lipstick in Rodeo Drive.

And that’s the finished look guys! Like I said it’s pretty quick and easy! I hope you enjoyed this entry, make sure to give it a thumbs up if you did!

I wish you all a wonderful day!

My Go-To Bronzed Spring Make Up Look – May 2015

Hey my loves,

I thought today I would share with you my go-to bronzed Spring make-up look. I really like this look! It’s glowing and you look like you’ve been on holiday for weeks! So here is the final look:

  1. Clean, treat and moisturize your skin.
  2. Instead of a primer, I used a moisturising serum.
  3. Before applying my base, I concealed under the eyes and any spots and redness. I used “Essence Stay-All-Day Concealer in Soft Beige” and “L’Oréal Paris True Match Concealer in Beige”: &
  4. Instead of a heavy foundation I used “Nivea BB Cream in Light” mixed with one pump of “L’Oréal Paris True Match Foundation in Beige”:
  5. To bronze up my face (in a 3-shape on the outside of my face) I used “Catrice Sun Glow Matt Bronzer in Deep Bronzer”:
  6. To set my T-zone, because I tend to get oily there I used “L’Oréal Paris Indefectible Powder in 225 Beige”:
  7. To give me a shimmer bronze on my cheeks I used “E.L.F. Baked Bronzer in St. Lucia”:
  8. Finally I applied some blush, I used “E.L.F. Baked Blush in Rich Rose”:

  1. All over the lid and into the crease I blended in “E.L.F. Baked Bronzer in St. Lucia”:
  2. Into the crease and outer V I placed “E.L.F. Baked Blush in Rich Rose”, I also took in under the eye:
  3. I’ve chosen a matt highlight for the brow bone, I used “Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadow in Vanillaty Fair”.
  4. Then I lined my upper eye halfway with “Essence Super Fine Eyeliner Pen” and winged it out at the end:
  5. To give a little more depth in the outer-V I place in a darker bronzer. I used “Catrice Sun Glow Matt Bronzer in Deep Bronze”:
  6. I also took the same bronzer under the eye.
  7. Lastly I coated my top and bottom lashes with the “Catrice Ultimate Lash Multimizer Waterproof Mascara”:

For my lips I used “E.L.F. Shimmer Lip Gloss in Dream”:

I hope you guys liked it and if you do please make sure to give this entry a thumbs up.

Girls Night Out – Make Up Look

Hey my loves,

today I am sharing with you a new make-up tutorial. I wore it for a Girls Night Out, that turned sorta into a Girls Night In, but I still had loads of fun playing with my make-up. So here is the look:

  1. Clean, treat and moisturize your skin.
  2. Apply Primer, I used this one “Catrice Prime and Fine Pore Refining and Anti-Shine Base”
  3. Apply a little illuminator over your cheeks, your nose and cupids bow. I used “NYX Illuminator in Sunbeam”:
  4. Apply your favorite foundation, I used the “Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 125 Nude Beige”:
  5. Conceal any darkness under your eyes, for that I used “Essence Stay All-Day Concealer in Soft Beige”:
  6. Conceal any spots, for that I used “NYX HD Concealer in Beige”:
  7. Set your T-Zone with some powder, I used “L’Oréal Paris Indefectible Powder in Beige”:
  8. Bronzer your face to give you a natural glow, I used “Catrice Cosmetics Matt Bronzing Powder in “:
  9. Apply a mauve colored blush to your cheeks, I used “E.L.F. Blush in Mellow Mauve”:
  10. Use a  highlighter, to bring highlight to your cheekbone and brow bone, I used “P2 Perfect Face All-Over Illuminator”.

  1. For a base I used “Maybelline’s Color Stay Tattoo Eyeshadow in Metallic Pomegranate”, I also used it under the eye:
  2. Under my brow, I used a matt white color. I used “Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadow in Vanillaty Fair”.
  3. All over the lid and therefore everywhere we put the Color Stay Tattoo I used the fifth color of the “Make Up Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette”.
  4. I used the first color of the same palette to highlight again under the brow bone.
  5. Then I used the second color and placed it halfway on the lid and blended it in with the other colors. I did the same thing under the eye.
  6. Then I used a liquid eyeliner pencil from essence to create a wing:
  7. On top of the wing I used the last color of the Make Up Revolution palette. I also used it on the outer corner of the under eye.
  8. Coat your top and bottom lashes with some mascara and fill in your eyebrows if needed. For my mascara I used “Catrice Ultimate Lash Multimizer Mascara “:

  1. Line your lips with a nude lip liner. I used “Catrice Longlasting Lip Liner in Vintage Rose”:
  2. On top of that I used “P2 Soft Nude Lipstick in Soft Caramel”.

I hope you guys liked it and if you do please make sure to give this entry a thumbs up.

My New Year’s Eve Look

Hey my loves,

it’s 2015! I can’t believe how fast 2014 has past, it was a good year and I hope 2015 is going much better! Today I share with you my make-up and hair look I wore on New Year’s Eve. I think you can still rock this look for another party. Here’s the finished look:

Here is a close up of the eyes:

As you can see I went for a silver metallic glitter smokey eye and straight hair! And here is my step-by-step instructions with picture of the products I have used for this look. Enjoy!

Step 1

Prep your skin, if you want your make up to last. Rinse it off with water and your favorite washing gel and then moisturize.

Step 2

Place sticky tape in an angle upwards from your under eye lash area. This way you don’t have to worry about being a little messier. Before I applied foundation and everything else I applied the eyeshadows first, because I knew I would have a lot of fall out.

Step 3

Prime your eyes. I used Essence Stay-all-day concealer.

Step 4

Place a dark brown shadow on your outer V and blend inward but concentrate the color in the crease and outer V. Don’t put any shadow on the lid. Blend until you like it.

Step 5

Take a vanilla-colored eyeshadow and place it on the lid, then take a clear blending brush and blend it in with the brown eyeshadow you had applied earlier.

Step 6

To make the glitter shadow last longer, I used an eyeshadow cream in a same color and placed it onto the lid, where I had applied the vanilla shadow before hand. Before the cream dries, go in with your glitter of choice, as I said earlier I went for a silver one.

Step 7

After I had a applied the glitter shadow I choose to deepen the brown with a black eyeshadow on the outer V of the eye. Then I took an liquid eyeliner and placed a small line on the upper lash line.

Here are the products I used on my eye:

Step 8

Remove the sticky tape and remove any fall out.

Step 9

Before I finished the eyes I applied a primer to my face, I used the Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine. And then a mix of  my foundations. I mixed Catrice Cosmetics Nude Illusion Make Up and Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin. For the under-eye concealer I used Essence stay-all-day concealer and for any redness and blemishes NYX HD Concealer.

Step 10

To set my foundation I used Catrice Cosmetics All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder. To contour and bronzer I used Catrice Cosmetics Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder. I mixed Essence Silky Touch Blush and NYX Blush to get the color I wanted. As a highlighter I used p2 Perfect Face All-over illuminator

Here are the products I used on the face:

Step 11

Then I finished off my eyes. I mixed the brown and black eyeshadow and placed them on the outer half of the under eye and in the inner corner I placed the vanilla eyeshadow.

Step 12

Coat your lashes with your favorite Mascara, I used Catrice Cosmetics Ultimate Lash Multimizer Mascara.

Step 13

At last I applied my absolute favorite Lipstick. KIKO Cosmetics Velvet Mat Satin Lipstick in 602 – Natural Rose.

To straighten my hair I used Remington Curling Wand C196S1:

Remington CI96S1 Ultimate Styler Lockenstab mit Turbo Boost Funktion

Remington CI96W1 Silk Curling Wand
