Hey my loves,
I thought today I would share with you a couple of things that make me happy right now. One of my goals this year is to live my life more positively and have a better and more positive way of looking at things.
At the moment I am really busy with Uni stuff and I have to say I absolutely love it and it makes me incredibly happy to be so productive. Especially at the end of the week when I can look back at what I achieved and accomplished I am super proud of myself for being super productive and not procrastinating as much. I also find it always helps with overthinking if I am busy. I literally have no time to think about thinks and that means I can’t overthink anything. And that’s just awesome!
At the moment I’m sitting in the living room of my grandma enjoying the few days off between the new and old year, even though I have a really long list of to-do’s I always like to make sure that I see her around the holidays. And if Uni starts again I at least get over to her place once a week, I just love spending time with her and it always makes me incredibly happy to spend time with her.
I’m currently reading one of the books of my reading list for 2018 (make sure to check that entry out). I’m reading ‘The Night Circus’ by Erin Morgenstern and I really enjoy it. It’s very different from anything that I would normally read and it captivates me in such another way than any of my other books. I am really happy that I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try reading something, which I would normally never and that makes me happy.
My grandma is currently teaching me how to crochet and although I’m not the greatest (yet – haha) I really enjoy doing this. One of my other goals is to find a couple of new hobbies and I think I will take crocheting on. I really enjoy producing something with my own hands, and it’s also something I never thought I would do. But it makes me really happy and it keeps my mind off and with so much to do that is really something great.
Being back on here and writing blog post is making me really happy, because I get to share things that I love and it also is keeping me super inspired. I just really missed it and hated it to be so uninspired. I also missed writing on its own. So now typing this, thinking about all the things I could write about and planning out more blog post just brings a smile to my face.
I would love to know the things that make you happy right now. You have to tell me in the comments.
I wish you all a wonderful day!
Hey my loves,
you know at times like these – it’s currently 11:43 pm as I’m writing this – I always get lost in my thoughts. I’m a night owl, so I tend to stay up later than others, but as for the last three months I’ve been going to bed quite early – well, for me at least.
I’ve been so busy and on my feet constantly that I didn’t have time for thinking for a while now, but I guess that’s good for me. Because I tend to overthink things a lot. Are you like that? Overthinking used to be such a huge problem for me, not that I had to overthink anything for that matter, because to be honest, my gut feeling always turned out to be right and thinking of all the other possible outcomes or whatever usually just gave me a major headache than anything else. But you know how it is…
But tonight is a night where I kinda got some time to myself. And I have to admit I quite enjoyed it. The next, um let me think, 5 or 6 months are going to be tough. I’m in my second year of Uni (well, actually more, but if you want me to get into that, let me know) and since I kinda slacked the first year a bit, because of moving out and other timing issues, I now have to write six papers. Which, let’s face it, is an awful lot to handle.
But I can’t change the fact, because I want to stay inside the three years and for that I have to do it. And usually if I set myself to something, I do it. Most of the time. But we’ll see. Next week Uni starts and it will all begin, but I’m excited to get back at it. I like being busy with school and I always feel like my summer term is so much nicer and easier to handle. Must be the sun, don’t you think?
Would you like me to talk about my Uni experience or which degree I’m aspiring to get? Because I could easily write a couple of entries for you. If you have any questions, feel free to comment and ask them.
Now enough of my midnight ramblings… I wish you all a good night!
The art of creating problems that weren’t even there.
Hey my loves,
today I am sharing with you a super quick makeup, it takes about 10-15 minutes depending on how many times you rock out to Christmas music… I mean it’s never too early, right? I would also put it in the category ‘No Makeup Makeup’ because it’s very natural and you can’t really see it on camera but in person, your own skin shines through the BB cream. I hope you enjoy today’s entry:
Products I’ve used:
What I Eat On A Busy Day
Breakfast – Avocado on Toast
Avocado on Toast has to be my favorite, but I actually don’t make it on toast instead I like to use multigrain bread. It’s much healthier that way. I also season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili flakes.
Lunch – Simple & Quick Fried Rice
For Lunch, I had a quick almost ready meal: Fried Rice with Rigatoni-Noodles and Veggies. I tried it for the first time to see if I would like it but it was seasoned too much for my taste. But I liked the idea behind it, so I’m definitely will try to recreate this recipe on my own. Let me know in the comments if you would like me to write an entry about it.
Dinner – Tuna Sandwich with Bell Pepper
For Dinner, I made my own version of a tuna sandwich. Instead of the usual complement mayo, I used cream cheese (2-3 tablespoons) and I added a bit of salt and pepper. And for some extra veggies, I added a small onion and ate some sliced red bell pepper on the side.
I hope you enjoyed today’s entry and video, and if you did make sure to show both some love. I would really appreciate it! Also, I have been more active on Instagram Stories lately, so come and say hi: The Dawn of Inspiration | Instagram
