Daytime Smokey-Eye Look

Hey my loves,
today’s Make-Up look is a daytime smokey-eye which you can wear to work or if you have a daytime event and need to wear something simple but yet glamorous. Here is the look:
ich

And here is a close-up for the eyes (I’m sorry for the blurry images, but I had to use my phone, because I don’t have a working Camera):

Instructions:

Step 1

Apply sticky tape in an angle upwards from you under-eye, but keep it lower. We want to elongate the eyes instead lifting them up.

Step 2

Take an angle brush and any black eyeshadow and create a winged line, you don’t have to be too precise because we are going to blend over it soon. Make the line as thick or thin as you prefer.

Step 3

Take any dark brown shadow and place it on the outer V and blend it in the crease an blend it over the black eyeshadow you applied earlier.

Step 4

Take any vanilla colored eyeshadow and place it on the lid, blend it into the darker colors with a clear blending brush.

Step 5
Take your favorite liquid eyeliner and line your eyes, use the black shadow as a guideline, but don’t make the eyeliner bigger than that. Blend over the eyeliner with the black shadow you used before hand.

Step 6

Apply the dark brown shadow under the eyes and blend it in. then use you favorite mascara and coat your lashes as you prefer it. For highlight use the vanilla colored eyeshadow.

Step 7

Finish the rest of your face, like you would normally do on a daily base and add any lipstick you prefer.

Products I used:

Face:

Catrice Cosmetics – Prime and Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Base

L’Oréal Paris – Indefectible Foundation in 145 Rosé Beige

L’Oréal Paris – Indefectible Powder in 225 Beige

NYX Cosmetics – Blush in PB04 Silky Rose

My New Year’s Eve Look

Hey my loves,

it’s 2015! I can’t believe how fast 2014 has past, it was a good year and I hope 2015 is going much better! Today I share with you my make-up and hair look I wore on New Year’s Eve. I think you can still rock this look for another party. Here’s the finished look:

Here is a close up of the eyes:

As you can see I went for a silver metallic glitter smokey eye and straight hair! And here is my step-by-step instructions with picture of the products I have used for this look. Enjoy!

Step 1

Prep your skin, if you want your make up to last. Rinse it off with water and your favorite washing gel and then moisturize.

Step 2

Place sticky tape in an angle upwards from your under eye lash area. This way you don’t have to worry about being a little messier. Before I applied foundation and everything else I applied the eyeshadows first, because I knew I would have a lot of fall out.

Step 3

Prime your eyes. I used Essence Stay-all-day concealer.

Step 4

Place a dark brown shadow on your outer V and blend inward but concentrate the color in the crease and outer V. Don’t put any shadow on the lid. Blend until you like it.

Step 5

Take a vanilla-colored eyeshadow and place it on the lid, then take a clear blending brush and blend it in with the brown eyeshadow you had applied earlier.

Step 6

To make the glitter shadow last longer, I used an eyeshadow cream in a same color and placed it onto the lid, where I had applied the vanilla shadow before hand. Before the cream dries, go in with your glitter of choice, as I said earlier I went for a silver one.

Step 7

After I had a applied the glitter shadow I choose to deepen the brown with a black eyeshadow on the outer V of the eye. Then I took an liquid eyeliner and placed a small line on the upper lash line.

Here are the products I used on my eye:

Step 8

Remove the sticky tape and remove any fall out.

Step 9

Before I finished the eyes I applied a primer to my face, I used the Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine. And then a mix of  my foundations. I mixed Catrice Cosmetics Nude Illusion Make Up and Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin. For the under-eye concealer I used Essence stay-all-day concealer and for any redness and blemishes NYX HD Concealer.

Step 10

To set my foundation I used Catrice Cosmetics All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder. To contour and bronzer I used Catrice Cosmetics Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder. I mixed Essence Silky Touch Blush and NYX Blush to get the color I wanted. As a highlighter I used p2 Perfect Face All-over illuminator

Here are the products I used on the face:

Step 11

Then I finished off my eyes. I mixed the brown and black eyeshadow and placed them on the outer half of the under eye and in the inner corner I placed the vanilla eyeshadow.

Step 12

Coat your lashes with your favorite Mascara, I used Catrice Cosmetics Ultimate Lash Multimizer Mascara.

My Christmas Look

Hey my loves,
I thought I share with you my make-Up and hair look from Christmas Eve. I spend it with the family of one of my best friends. I went for a dark purple smokey eye and curly hair. I hoped you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas time, I indeed had. So this is my final look:

Here is my hair up close:

Christmas Look

I personally think that you can wear this make up for every occasion, for example for a New Year’s Eve Party. And here is my step by step tutorial, sadly without picture, because they got somehow all very blurry.

Step 1

Apply a base for your shadow and to even out your skin tone. I used the NYX HD Concealer in CW 04.

Step 2

Take a sticky tape on to the back of your hand so that is not sticky anymore. Then place it so that it goes from the under eye rim up to your eyebrow leaving a little space for a highlighter.

Step 3

I then took Maybelline’s Color Stay Tattoo gel-cream eyeshadow in 65-Pink gold and applied it all over the lid and into the crease.

Step 4

Take Maybelline’s Color Stay Tattoo gel-cream eyeshadow in 70-Metallic Pomegranate and place it on the outer half of your lid. Focusing the main color on the outer V and then blending it in toward the middle of the lid and up to the crease.

Step 5

Take the darkest shadow of the KIKO Cosmetics Color Fever Eyeshadow Palette 101 and place it over the Metallic Pomegranate shadow but focus it on the outer-v and up close to the lash line.

Step 6

Take the lighter dark shadow of the Palette and apply it as a transitioning color between the middle and outer part of the lid and also the crease.

Step 7

Then take the rose shadow of the palette and apply it to the front half of the lid, blending it into the shadow applied before.

Step 8

Repeat the steps from the upper eye lid under the eye. Blend very well, this is for the lid and the under eye area very important.

Step 9

Apply the highlighter to your brow bone, at first I used Catrice Cosmetics Velvet Matt Eyeshadow in 010- Vanillaty Fair and then went in with the highlighter shade of the palette. Also placing this color in the inner corner of the eye.

Step 10

Apply your favorite mascara, I used Catrice Cosmetics Ultimate Lash Voluminzer Mascara in Black.

Step 11

Remove the sticky tape and connect the upper lid and the under eye area with the darkest shade of the KIKO palettes.

Step 12

Clean up any fall out and finish the rest of your face.

I used Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation in 021 Nude. Then for concealer I used the NYX HD again. To set my foundation and concealer I used Catrice Cosmetics All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder in 025 Sand Beige. As a contour and bronzer I used Catrice Cosmetics Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder for Darker Skin in 020 Deep Bronze. For my blush I used NYX Blush in PB04 Silky Rose and as my highlighter I took p2 Professional Perfect Fall all-over illuminator.

To curl my hair I used the Remington Curling Wand C196S1. You can find it here:
Remington CI96S1 Ultimate Styler Lockenstab mit Turbo Boost Funktion
This one is pretty similiar:

I hope you all have a wonderful day and I wish you all a happy new year.
