My Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes

Hey my loves,

in today’s blog post I am going to talk about my all time favorite eyeshadow palettes. When it comes to my eyeshadow I am not much of a crazy color kind of girl, but I do love a good smokey eye in various shades.

I’ve taken all the pictures with the flash light on, just fyi.

Urban Decay – Naked 3

I LOVE this palette, you can do an intense smokey eye or a natural every day kind of look. When I thought about buying one of the ‘Naked’ palettes last year I was debating which one to get, but it was either this one or the ‘Naked Heat’ palette (which I might invest in later this year). I love the colors and I think the go great with my eye color. My favorite color has to be ‘Mugshot’, but ‘Buzz’ is a very close second.

NYX – Lid Lingerie

This palette has been my everyday shadow palette the entire fall/winter season. You can create so many different looks with this and I love that all the shades are matte. They have a great color pay off, are easy to blend and have almost no fall out at all. I’ve been highly enjoying the burnt orange shade.

NYX – Full Throttle  in Color Riot

This palette has been with me super long. It’s my most used palette for fall season. Those colors just scream Fall to me, don’t you agree? I especially love the cranberry red and lately I’ve been enjoying the orange shade a lot.

NYX – Beauty School Dropout 101 in Nude

As you can see I almost hit pan with quite a lot of the shades and that’s because, I believe, this palette has been with me for about three or four years and has been my everyday shadow for as long. I believe that it got replaced by the ‘Lid Lingerie’ palette some time ago, because I wanted a more matte eyeshadow look back then. But whenever I am doing a bronze smokey eye, I always go back to these shades. The second shade next to the gold is my absolute favorite from the entire palette!

NYX – Love Contours All

This palette has not only nine different shades of eyeshadow, but also includes two highlighters, two contour colors, as well as two shades for the eyebrows. To be honest with you, I almost did not put this into this entry, but there are three shades of this palette that I absolutely love and have been using more frequent as of lately. And that is the gold highlight, the third eyeshadow from the first row right under the mirror and the dusted lilac shadow. I just love these colors, so I had to put them into this entry!

What are your favorite eyeshadow palettes? Tell me in the comments.

I wish you all a wonderful day!

Hey my loves,

in today’s video I show you my everyday routine during Spring when I have my classes at University. I usually have about 20 minutes for my makeup in the morning, so I am able to do quite a lot, but I do have to make sure it lasts all day, because I have really long days. If you want to know how achieved this look then check my video out.

I hope you enjoyed today’s video and if you did make sure to give it a big thumbs up. It would mean the world to me if you could subscribe and leave me a comment telling me what your favorite primer for a long day of wearing makeup is.

I wish you all a wonderful day!

Maybelline Superstay 24h Lipstick Review

Hey my loves,

in today’s post I am going to talk about the Maybelline Superstay 24h lipsticks. I own six shades and I do have quite mixed feelings about them, so I thought I would share them with you.

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Let’s start with an overall review of the lipsticks. They are long-lasting, but they are more on the dry side, which means you have to take very good care of your lips before and after, but I feel like with all long lasting lipsticks that’s the case.

Furthermore, some of the colors have a great color pay off, others not so much, which is sad and disappointing especially because they are from the same range. The colors with the best color pay off are 760 Pink Spice, 185 Rose Dust, 542 Cherry Pie. Rose Dust has to be my favorite of all of them!

150 Delicious Pink is more of a tinted lip gloss in my opinion to get an even finish you have to go over quite a lot. About 140 Roaring Rose I just have bad things to say, so I keep it short – bad to apply, no even color and does move a lot when trying to re-apply lipstick or add color.

310 Forever Heather is a great color and with a couple of coats of it you get an even finish, but you have to put quite a lot on, which is annoying, considering how little product there is in a tube.

If you have tried any of them: what did you think about them? Let me know in the comments.

I wish you all a wonderful day!

I Tried Following a Jaclyn Hill Makeup Tutorial

Hey my loves,

in today’s video I tried to recreate Jaclyn Hill makeup tutorial. I was so focused on following her tutorial that I literally forget to speak, so I was able to cut it down quite a lot.

Sadly, I do not own any of the products she used in her video, but I tried my best with dupes. I literally have no idea what I used. But I think I used an old Zoeva palette, as well as my NYX Lid Lingerie Shadow Palette. Other than that I do not remember what I used and I forgot to write it down. Sorry!

Also, I’ve already had my foundation done, because I filmed my “Mixing All My Foundations Together” video previous to that one.

The tutorial I followed was:

I just love Jaclyn so much and I loved that look. She also said something in this video that really spoke to me, and that was:

And if you don’t have a really defined crease that’s okay, you can just carve it out and you can create your own crease with the shadow. That’s what the beauty of makeup is, honestly. You can create your own crease, create a different nose, a different face shape, create whatever the hell you want with makeup. You can create a different life if you really need to.

I hope you enjoyed today’s video and if you did make sure to give it a big thumbs up. And it would mean the world to me if you could subscribe to my channel.

I wish you all a wonderful day!

Mixing All My Foundations Together

Hey my loves,

in today’s video I’ve mixed together all my foundations. I’m not a beauty guru so I don’t have as many and I don’t have any high ends one, but I was still very surprised by the outcome. If you want to know if I was pleasantly surprised or not check out my video:

Foundations I’ve used:

Have you tried the trend of mixing together all of your foundations? Have you even filmed it? Let me know, so I can watch it or read about it. I found the different results so interesting.

I wish you all a wonderful day!
