This for That – Summer to Fall/Winter Makeup

Hey my loves,

as the season changes and it gets a lot colder outside our makeup application and products tend to change as well, so I thought I would show you how I transfer my Summer makeup to Fall and Winter. I hope you enjoy this entry!

This for That – Eyes

Summer:

In Summer we tend to go with bright colors and lightly filled in brows, we go either completely natural or with a tint of color. So instead of using a heavy brow crayon or pomade we use light brow tints, and instead of a dramatic smokey eye we use eyeshadow sticks, shimmery eyeshadows and bright fun colors.

Winter:

In Winter we go all out, dark shadows, black winged liner, dramatic lashes and almost always we tend to use matte eyeshadows, of course, we still live our glitter dream on Christmas and New Year’s, but for the most part, we stay smokey and matte.

This for That – Cheeks

Summer:

To keep it lightweight and dewy we tend to use liquid blushes and highlighters. For blushers we use colors that are colorful and remind us of summer and for that golden glow, we use golden toned highlighters.

Winter:

In Winter we go into the deep colored blushes, colors like a deep purple or mauve shades are a staple in these months. As for highlighter, we use a mix, but I tend to go for frosted highlighters.

This for That – Skin

Summer:

Summer is the time of outdoor activities, BBQs and other fun times, so the last thing we want to worry about is our makeup. So instead of going full coverage, we like to go lightweight and let our skin breathe. For a Foundation we tend to use BB Creams or tinted moisturizers and for our concealers we use something lightweight and illuminating, and we don’t even bother with contouring instead we add a nice sun-touched glow with warm bronzer colors.

Winter:

In Winter we go all out: full coverage foundation and concealer, mostly mattifying and if possible with a poreless effect. And contouring is in full comeback mode, we tend to use cooler-toned, ashy colors.

This for That – Lips

Summer:

Bright, sparkly lips are what summer is for. Pinks, Orange and more colors of the rainbow are perfect for summer and topped off with a sparkling lip gloss even better.

Winter:

In Winter, on the other hand, we go full on dark. Dark plums, reds, browns, sometimes even black.

I hope you enjoyed todays entry. And if you did make sure to give it a thumbs up and tell me in the commentes what changes you are making for fall/winter.
