A Little Haul – Summer Edition – 2016

Hey my loves,

today I am sharing a couple of things with you I bought for the summer season. I like wearing makeup but during summer this can be a difficult task so I bought a few products to try out. So here they are:

Rimmel London – Fix & Protect Makeup Primer with SPF 25 & NYX – Color Correcting Liquid in Yellow

SPF is super important at any time of the year, but especially during summer time and it’s very hard for me to find a sun protection cream for my face so to have it in my makeup primer is just perfect. I’ve been using it for the last couple of days now and my makeup stays on! I really love it! If you’re on the look for a perfect summer primer than give the Rimmel London – Fix & Protect Makeup Primer a try!

I’ve been in some stress lately and that sadly has been showing through my skin so I was on the look for a product that illuminates my skin and brings back some life into my face. With the color correcting primer in yellow by NYX I’ve found it! You need so little but it goes such a long way! I’m using it after I primed my face and it really helps my complexion! I really like this product!

Bourjois – 123 Perfect CC Cream in 32 Light Beige

I’m a huge makeup addict, but when it comes to summer and daytime makeup I just can’t deal with heavy foundation or foundation that just don’t give me enough coverage. So I researched CC and BB creams that give great coverage, don’t smudge and aren’t too heavy! And I’ve found the Bourjois – 123 Perfect CC Cream through a video by Pixiwoo on the good old YouTube! (You have to check them out, they are amazing!) This product is absolutely what I was looking for! One tip for you guys: You definitely don’t need much product! A little drop covers your whole face! Trust me!

Maybelline – Master Contour by Face Studio in 02 Medium

I was looking for a contour stick for a while and when I was looking for some summer products I came along this beauty! It has a contour side and a highlight/concealer side and it’s super easy to use! The color is perfect for contouring, it’s not too warm and not to cool. And a plus for me was that it is buildable and very easy to blend! You have to try it!

Barry M – Make Me Blush Cream in Peach Melba

So where to start with that! Firstly the product was already broken when I opened it, which I personally think is because the stick of blush is smaller that the tube it goes in.. The color pay off for a stick is great but sadly it’s not very blendable, you have to use a lot of product to get an even layer of blush! But other than that it’s a nice product if you don’t want to use a powder blush! But I really had higher hopes!

I freaking love this brushes! I’ve been using them since I got them and they are so fun and great! I love the colors of them! They are very soft and don’t pick up too much product! I can only recommend them to you!

That was it for my little summer haul! Tell me what you think of the products in the comments. And if you enjoyed this entry make sure to give it a thumbs up! I would really appreciate it!

I wish you all a wonderful day!

XoXo, Jasmin.

  1. It has been very humid in here as well that I am wearing almost no make up at all in day time because I will end up melting anyway. I love BB and CC creams too but I havent found a western brand that doesnt break me out. I stick with korean and japanese ones.
