Motivational Monday – Something different

Hey my loves,

I like to address a topic today that is quite concerning to me, especially these past few weeks with everything what is going on in the world!
A couple of days ago I was looking through my Instagram feed and I saw a horrible photograph of children who were murdered during war in Gaza. The photograph had the title: “You don’t have to be a Muslim to care about Gaza. This is not a matter of religion, it’s a matter of humanity.” To admit something to you, I didn’t really know to that point what was going on down there, but still I found the title very truthful. To care about a life IS a matter of humanity. But what I then noticed just proofed the stubbornness and incapability of some people to care. In the comments of the picture they were arguing about who is in right and who is not and about facts that no one can really know. I was very upset about what I read because they were arguing and somewhat bullying each other below a photo that should raise our humanity besides of who we are, where we come from or what religion we have faith in. So I responded. And I didn’t get a reaction. I didn’t concern myself anymore with it. But I want to address the topic of it today in our motivational monday entry.

No matter where you are from and what you believe in, to kill or to hurt innocent people especially children is NOT acceptable nor arguably. A human life SHOULD matter no matter what. But before we can care about others, we need to care about ourselves. If we are not able to accept ourselves with who we are and what we are, how can we accept others. Show respect to others and acknowledge their opinion. You don’t always have to agree on everything. What makes us different are the ways we think and act! No human being should EVER go through war and pain but yet history repeats itself over and over again. When does humanity starts to realize that war and pain doesn’t solve ANYTHING?! Please start to be patient and kind to each other. Start each day with a smile on your face even if you don’t feel like it. Because that smile could be what saves another. Be patient and kind and maybe you surround yourself with people who are patient and kind to you. Acceptance, Respect and Humanity brings you forward! And to those who still think you can solve an argument with war, try to ask yourself: Do you want to get hurt, disrespected and disowned of your freedom? NO? – Then why the hell do you do it to another human being?!

Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind. ~ John F. Kennedy

I wish you all a safe and happy day!
Xoxo, Jasmin.

  1. I like this post. How we choose to be does have an effect on the world. I lose my patience a lot and sometimes I am not very nice, and I really forget to notice these little things. If every single person made little changes like being more accepting or doing something nice every day, the world would be a different place
